Will be ready for collection in about 2 weeks. 16-J-4. Close coupled all-weather for R. {Sir Henry Royce} Will be put in hand as soon as we have completed final two SS. {S. Smith} bodies. We recommend this be the chromium plated car. 'SS {S. Smith} ' 18-EX. Barker saloon cab: for R. {Sir Henry Royce} Delivery end of Nov. All fittings will be chromium plated - lamps Black. 19-EX. Hooper Sedanca - car for Sales criticism. Ready at the end of the year. 20-EX. Open body. Design ready for placing in hand as soon as we have completed 18-EX. We agree that we should put two more bodies in hand, but think that it is essential to complete 18-EX body, and the first SS. {S. Smith} chassis design. If you like to give us dates when you will be ready for the 3rd, 4th., and 5th., SS. {S. Smith} bodies we will see that they are available for you. We are arranging to issue instructions for all the instruments, horns, etc. for 18-EX, in a few days time. We do not think discussing the body problem with R. {Sir Henry Royce} would speed up the job, as we have been, and are still going ahead at the programme as hard as we can.
