Hooper Sedanca - car for Sales criticism. Ready at the end of the year. 20-EX. Open body. Design ready for placing in hand as soon as we have completed 18-EX. We agree that we should put two more bodies in hand, but think that it is essential to complete 18-EX body, and the first SS.{S. Smith} chassis design. If you like to give us dates when you will be ready for the 3rd, 4th., and 5th., SS.{S. Smith} bodies we will see that they are available for you. We are arranging to issue instructions for all the instruments, horns, etc. for 18-EX, in a few days time. We do not think discussing the body problem with R.{Sir Henry Royce} would speed up the job, as we have been, and are still going ahead at the programme as hard as we can. Since commencing the bodies for SS.{S. Smith} 7 weeks ago I have produced no less than 25 N.Schemes. DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
