BENTLEY CHASSIS - STANDARDISATION SHEETS.

Kindly note the following standardisation sheets were completed during July 1937:-

Title. Series where brought in. Chassis to test.
Bentley main bearings ( AC.2) K.{Mr Kilner} Production.

The following standardisation sheets are in course of circulation:-
Thick leaf rear springs. Withdrawn
New type Butler stop and tail lamp. Withdrawn
Extra hole in each crank journal opposite to existing - grooves enlarged in intermediate bearings. comp.
Modification to petrol tank fixing. Withdrawn
✓Wheel drivers Ex.25109A.
✓Palmetto water pump gland packings ½" sq.type.
✓Water thermometer with flexible capillary.
✓Cylinder block made in "Chromidium"
✓Johnson & Phillips - Ne-oprene ozone resisting H.T. ignition cable.
✓35⁰ servo cams.
✓Brake linings made of Ferodo BZ. on all brakes including hand brakes.
✓Superflexit petrol pipe.
✓Raised front engine mounting.
✓Valve springs in Swedish wire.
✓Modification to cylinder block.
✓Ignition coil with reversed primary connections.
✓Reduced hand control ignition range.
✓Cantilever pedals.
