RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} c. to By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Mis Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}7/MA, 8.12.32. PEREGRINE BRAKE ADJUSTMENT. With the G.W.H. shoes set .007 - .008 on this car we think we can run with the following brake clearances without fear of seizing the brakes; particularly so when we have steel instead of aluminium shoes. Rear Brakes to R.B.sch.292 set at .650 - 50 at end of 5.750 lever. Front Brake to original N.Sch. set at .312 + 50 at end of 3.500 lever on carrier plate. The GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} shoes both front & back should be set at .007 - .008. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} | ||
