With further reference to our letter of the 11th May last, we shall be glad to know whether you have yet concluded your examination of the sample tank unit which was fitted with Carbon Graphitic Bearings. As we have informed you, our tests indicated that these bearings would not corrode and in addition would reduce the friction as compared with the existing metal bearings. In view of the position, we shall be glad to know whether you will be agreeable to us changing over to this type. Awaiting your observations which will receive our best attention.
