Wheel wobble issues experienced in the Prince of Wales' car, particularly in relation to balloon tyres.

on The Prince of Wales car were of a different character to those which are investigated in connection with balloon tyres. The wobble with balloon tyres is the most violent; it is such that it is quite impossible to drive the car when they come on.

The wobbles on The Prince of Wales car were relatively mild oscillations of the steering wheel, like we expect from out-of-balance wheels.
