S/W. 1204 Lp.{Mr Lappin}4/PH.9.8.37. Dear Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}, In connection with new projects for motor cars, as you know, Hitler has given instructions that the German car manufacturers must produce a suitable small car with good performance, economical to run and the right price. I learn that in connection with the production of this car, the D.V.L., Germany, have a model of a car in the tunnel on which every attempt is being made to produce a body which will offer the minimum resistance, even at relatively low speeds. In any case, they will probably achieve a very good car from the wind noise point of view. Lp.{Mr Lappin} | ||
