For the attention of H.E. Price Esq.

Dear Sirs,

Reference to your request for stopping distance figures of our Bentley AU.1 taken at your works on your wet track with a piece of apparatus made by ourselves, we did not attach much importance to these as they were taken hurriedly in about a quarter hour after a morning spent using your apparatus.

We appear to have results corresponding with your Tests Nos.2 and 3. (Figs 7 & 8) which are 75 and 80 feet respectively. The other two records Nos. 1 and 4 were unsatisfactory.

Trusting this is the information you require.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
