One of these cones has been put thro the same test on dyno: as the 1/4" material that is picking up full load on 1st gear & slipped until a temperature of 150°C, the condition of the fabric after this test was excellent. On the road it has run 40 miles & up to now is quite as good as the 1/4". It should be used on old cars to replace the leather. The material frays at the edges & the rivets are not enough countersunk. enough, the material should have woven edges. More miles will be put on this clutch. | ||
