RE 20 HP CHASSIS - CARBURETTER - SEC:SC50.

With reference to the fitting of cast phosphor bronze bushes in the 6 sets of 20 HP spray chambers, as instructed in our memo HY{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}/Bhm6/DB.{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}12.6.23, will you please make Bush E.52673 .575 long instead of .512 and Bush E.52674 .625 long instead of .562, that is, each bush to be .063 longer.

The butterfly throttle valves used in these bushed spray chambers should then be machined as shown in sketch below.

With these modifications, we think the valve will give a complete cut off when in the closed position.
Until we have a favourable report from the Test Dept: on this experiment, we suggest you should go slow on the production of these bushes.
