(Experimental Dept.) 6198 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst.4/M 3rd February, 1937. E.A. Bayles Esq., Messrs. British Insulated Cables Ltd., H E L S B Y. Mr. Warrington. Dear Mr. Bayles, Many thanks for your letter of the 2nd instant and we shall be very interested to try out the sample of cable which you are sending to us. Regarding your last paragraph, I should very much like to come over and have a discussion with you at Helsby, if such a discussion could be made rather general in its nature, i.e., with representatives of say, Messrs. Lucas and the S.M.T. Co., as it would appear that cable manufacturers would be unlikely to amend any specification without the concurrence of these other people. I could probably manage a visit one day the week after next. Yours faithfully, For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
