P.III REAR AXLE BUFFERS.

We have had certain cases on 34-EX and 36-EX where the metal casing F.87559 for the rear bump buffer F.87560 has broken.

The trouble is chiefly due to the lack of support from the tube which is rivetted across the buffer casing.

By replacing this tube with a 2.B.A. Bolt, the load necessary to cause a failure of the buffer casing is increased six times. Will you please, therefore, arrange for 2.B.A. bolts to be used on production as soon as possible.
