W/S. To C. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} c. to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} 4830 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/LG15.1.26 BODY FOR EAC.8. CHASSIS. Further to our Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/LG11.1.26. We have now heard from WW. to say that they agree to fitting a body without a subframe to EAC.8. chassis. Could you please let us know what stock bodies you have suitable for a short chassis, 'D' steering. The car will be going down to R.{Sir Henry Royce} at Le Camiel so we should like something reasonably good. It is probable that the body will have to be fitted up on a mock-up chassis. We shall not be able to send EAC.8. to the coachbuilders. Will you please let us know what you can do. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
