RL D One of our clients had a lengthy talk with me yesterday on the subject of our batteries, arising out of the fact that he has had some trouble with his, to the effect that he has found the Edison battery much more satisfactory than any other, particularly on his yacht. It is very much lighter and specially designed to stand a high rate of charge and discharge, without suffering. As a result of his experience with these batteries on board his yacht, he has changed over all the batteries on his cars - of which he has several - to Edison batteries, with the exception of his Rolls-Royce, but he hesitates at the moment to interfere with our selection. He would like to know whether we have ever tried the Edison battery, and if so, what we think of it. If we have not done so, he suggests that we should be very interested in the results which we might obtain from such a trial. He has asked me to tell him at some future date what news you are able to send me on this subject. Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} SN{Mr Sanderson} DEC 24 1920 RECEIVED Su ETC | ||
