Track slightly pitted. Rectified by fitting thinner GB.2101 plate to nosepiece, i.e. - .003", and replacing same pinion race; pinch O.K. -------------------------------- B.139.CW. 30.4.37 28561 Owner complained of axle noisy at 40 m.p.h. Race examined and track found pitted. Rectified by changing axle pinion race and correcting pinch on same. -------------------------------- B.147.CW. 30.4.37 38358 Complaint of axle noisy on over-run. Found too much pinch on race. Rectified by fitting .004" thinner thrust washer. -------------------------------- B.122.JD.{J. Draper - Frames} 30.4.37 1977 Complaint axle noisy about 35 m.p.h. Found no pinch on race and thrust washer found worn badly.
