NOTE ON FIGURES OBTAINED DURING CLIMB WITH HEATED INTAKES.

On appended curve is given the temperature of the water flowing out from the water jacket under the carburetter diffusers. This did not fall below 60°C until an air temperature of -34°C was reached, and the reading obtained was 50°C. We should not like to guarantee the accuracy of this last reading as this, and some of the other instruments, started to frost over making observations difficult.
