1113 To H.Hamilton. Cricklewood, Oct. 22nd, 1936. I received your report of the 20th. We agree that the leaving off of the frame tees allows more whip to take place. This has been reported upon throughout the running of 22-G-V in France If Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} agrees to send out stays all the better, if not it is the comparison we are after with the use of weaker front springs in conjunction with the roll car. There is a lot of work in this respect for you to carry out. The comparison of cylinder head tests should not take you more than a few days. We require this riding affect and the results of the roll bar. The misfiring as you noted in Paris traffic and which I Waller called your attention to requires investigation. We want a report upon it. You state you do not propose to send in daily reports. A daily report must be sent upon what you are doing. It does not mean necessarily that the mileage report is required but a report must be sent, to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} copy to me. I will let you know of my movements until then I am remaining at Cricklewood. | ||
