LONDON.S.W.1.

For the attention of Mr. F.R.Banks.

Dear Sirs,

We have to carry out tests on Kestrel engines at specified Octane ratings.

In order to save delay we therefore propose to load up D.T.D.134 with the required quantity of lead to give the necessary Octane rating demanded.

We should therefore be very obliged if you could supply us with a curve giving the Octane values of additions of T.E.L. to D.T.D.134, up to about 4 cc's.

Yours faithfully,

For Rolls-Royce Ltd.
