X5661 C. EFC. BY/RD4/ML.7.6.26. RE 20 H.P. CHASSIS DYNAMO. 5661 ARMATURE - SEC:8070. COMMUTATOR - SEC:8090. In order to make the dynamo a little quieter, will you please put in hand an experimental armature having 28 slots and a commutator with 56 segments and instead of a dummy coil as we do on standard machines, connect this odd coil up in lap fashion. Herewith blueprints of:- Sec:8070 - D.51490 - Armature Assembly. D.51491 - Winding Diagram. IV All parts to the standard L.O.P. D.51343. Sec:8090 - D.51492 - Commutator Assembly. D.51493 - Insulating Segment. All other parts to the standard L.O.P. D.51070. As the number of bars in this commutator only differs from the standard by one we wish to use standard section copper and make up the difference with the insulating segments D.51493 which are standard in all respects except the thickness. Will you please put this in hand and when complete hand over to EFC. for test. BY/RD. | ||
