With reference to our recent correspondence on the question of increasing the size of the square on the speedometer drive, so as to deal with the question of double mechanical windscreen wipers, we send herewith M.sch. 2443 shewing the .219 square in both the Phantom and India speedometer drives.

It will be seen that in the case of the Phantom we have had to make slight alterations to the gears to ensure there being sufficient metal, and if Derby have any comments on this point we should be glad to hear them.

We suggest that this speedometer drive should become standard as soon as poss.
