RR 238 (150 BKS.) (DB{Donald Bastow - Suspensions} 461-8-12 44) MP 306975 X3839 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To: E.F.L. Order No.: IC.146. Customer's No.: XG6175 Re Tests on SR Battery (179) This battery has now run 12,723 miles & has been on our bench life test - 2 years On Low Rate Discharge through a constant external resistance of 1.80Ω only 48.2 ampere hours were realised. The Exide cells shewed positive weakness. On High Rate Discharge through a constant external resistance of .100Ω Initial amperes = 100 Time to 90 " = 7.0 min " " 80 " = 9.3 " The Exide cells shewed negative weakness. The Exide cells were worse than the P&R cells both in capacity & resistance. The Threaded Rubber cells (Exide) had a higher internal resistance than all the other cells. Signed: G.J. This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
