Dear Sirs, We have pleasure in enclosing a copy of the latest reprint of our Data Card, reference SC3/5S, dated February 1939, giving details of current tyre dimensions. This supersedes our previous issue of 1937, under the same reference number, sent out in October of that year. The dimensional revisions are mainly of a minor character and refer to our new Standard and Fort range of tyres, both in Wired-on and E.L.P. types. In view of the present tendency for first equipment fitments to be in rim diameters not exceeding 19", the figures given do not embrace tyres of larger rim diameter. We should, however, be very pleased to provide, on application, dimensional details of equipment which appear in our price lists of car tyres. It will be noticed that in certain tyre sizes dimensions have been omitted. This is due to the fact that in these instances, tyres in new pattern are not yet available, and the figures appearing on our previous issue of this card are still current. Immediately new pattern tyres are available we shall advise you of the appropriate dimensions which we should be glad if you would enter on your chart.
