I am sorry not to have replied to your query before, concerning the accessory wiring.

I have discussed this point with R.{Sir Henry Royce}, and he says he desires to avoid as far as possible the use of double pole wiring or fittings on the chassis. For example if it is required to install a lamp in a saloon, then the lampholder should be of the single pole variety, and the body of the holder should be permanently earthed in some suitable manner by the coachbuilder to the chassis frame. This renders the installation similar to the lamps used on the chassis itself.

All other accessories should be similarly treated.

The onus is on the coachbuilder to suitably earth them to the chassis.

We will send you the original of the wiring diagram as soon as possible.
