To Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} from EFC.

EFC8/T1.4.21.

X.2894 - TUNGSTEN CONTACTS FOR BATTERY IGNITION.

With reference to the attached copy of a letter received from C. Melin & Co. of Feb.15th, as we are interested in Tungsten contacts we think it reasonable to give a trial of the tungsten contacts produced by this firm.

We are therefore sending along with this note 4 blades and screws of our standard battery ignition and shall be glad if you will have these forwarded to this firm and fitted with tungsten contacts, afterwards to be returned to us for experimental test.

It should be noted that the face of the contact should be on the same side as the mark indicating where the pressure has come on the spring blade, on sample.

EFC.
