Coverley - Production Engineer} (Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} are struck through) Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} / HP.27.7.34. 20/25 HP. Flexible Engine Mounting. Referring to N.Sch.4119, Tie Rod between engine and pedals, the locking washer on the ball end nut is rather narrow, and we wish to change it for a wider one as shewn on N. Sch.4150. On this latter drawing we have also shewn a modification to the ball end to enable bronze bushes to be used instead of steel, as we also recently did on P.2. We realise that this will have to be brought in later if found desirable. O.K. (handwritten) Goodyman (handwritten signature) Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
