We hope that we are not getting committed too far ahead on change speed mechanisms for the 20/25 and Bentley, because the isolated scheme has proved successful and will be running 10,000 miles on 5-B-IV. In fact, as soon as this car has been tried on the road with the latest alteration, we propose to issue a Standardisation Sheet. With reference to water excluders, we are anxious to make the screen from the drain hole to the brake camshaft integral with the carrier plate. We are having a sample made up experimentally. In view of this we do not want to get too far ahead producing existing carrier plates. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
