X.1787 28.4.24. X.1782 - WESTON GALVANOMETER MODEL 375. NO.8985. A deflection of one division on the scale of this instrument is produced by 32 micro-amperes. The full scale deflection of 30 divisions is thus produced by .96 milli-amperes. The resistance of the instrument at 17°C is 19.1 ohms, so that full scale deflection is produced with a terminal P.D. of 18.3 milli-volts. RE SMALL CELL TESTING VOLTMETER. The milli-amperes for 2/3 full scale (i.e. showing or reading 2 V on instrument) are 4.93 to the left of zero and 4.83 to the right. The milliamperes for a full scale deflection are 7.34 to the left and 7.22 right. This gives an average of 4.88 m.a. for 2/3 scale either way, and 7.28 m.a. full scale. | ||
