discharge more rapidly, inasmuch as both the primaries are in parallel. Thus, the spark is concentrated and combustion materially improved. On test bench, this result is shown by an inch of mercury more vacuum for any given speedand load above 900 rpm. This indicates less butterfly opening, greater gas velocity and better carburetion. There is an increase of torque output and about six percent average fuel saving. Furthermore, improved power is shown as the breaker points burn apart from the original factory setting up to an increase of .012". SYNCHRO-START requires no attention from the driver and is fool-proof. It will be noted that the relay contacts are protected by a carbon resistor. SYNCHRO-START has operated well over 100,000 miles and is as good as new after test. Adjustment of the cutting-in and cutting-out speeds is accomplished with great facility by adjustments 'H' and 'I'. SYNCHRO-START is free from all technical criticism. SYNCHRO-START will not fail.
