The following is an extract of Capel's report re chassis No. 1560.

R.P.Richards, Esq., Mr. Johnson wishes this to be communicated to Mr. Royce:-

"This owner says springing has never been right. He says he is much surprised at us allowing .10 to .14 of slack in our spring bushes and says Government inspectors will not allow any more than .04 on their engines, which are subject to as much water and dirt."
