Sheffield.

For the attention of Mr. Porter.

Dear Sir,

We are requiring another pair of rear spring main plates Ex.18483. The only difference being that these are for a pair of springs F.66931, 1250 lbs.

I should be very greatly obliged if you would let me know how soon we can expect to see these 2 spring leaves.

Your prompt work on those special 25 HP. springs was appreciated at Derby. We should like to know if you still consider these thin top leaves impracticable for production because of the oil holes. I am only hoping that you may have found a better way for drilling the smaller hole.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
