re:- New Bentley for Lp.{Mr Lappin}

I had a discussion with Lp{Mr Lappin} with reference to his proposed new car at Messrs. Park Ward's, and whilst the body will be bought through Sales most probably, I have promised to look after the job for him. Most likely he will accept a Standard Park Ward Saloon with a larger luggage container.

The following are the special chassis features we would like:-

(1) The battery and crossmembers moved back 2 inches. (Lp{Mr Lappin} tells me that the chassis has been fitted with this feature).

(2) Side spare wheel carrier.

(3) Outside petrol filler. (Lp{Mr Lappin} would like this because he does not like inside fillers and wants the added luggage space).

Will you please tell us if you can fit these.

Lp{Mr Lappin} tells us that you hope to let him have the chassis in about four weeks.
