Thank you for Sr10/Crn.12.11.36., I attach a copy of memo from Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} which explains exactly what was done in the case of Raymond Mays' car. I also enclose a summary of the present bearing position so that you may see whither we are going. I am relying on you to keep me posted as to exactly how the 4¼-litre Bentleys go in your customers' hands, because you will get advanced information from the way in which the car is driven, and we shall formulate our policy on how to deal with service complaints on the results you obtain. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} P.S. I have told Fedden, who is the Chief Engineer of the Bristol Co. to try your Bentley while he is in France.
