To C. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} X180 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG.6.3.29. KEK EXPERIMENTAL CARS. X8774 10-EX CAR. We have now further use for this car which is the original Phantom sports chassis. We recently loaned this car to Lp.{Mr Lappin} because he wished to have some means of transport between Northolt and Andover. The car has several experimental features fitted to it including the frame. To make it into a standard saleable second-hand car would be expensive. You might therefore consider whether it would not be advisable to keep it for the purpose it is now being used. 10-G3. We have now finished with this chassis. We have taken the body off and have fitted it to 17-G3 which is the model of the next production 20 HP. We are sending 10-G3. chassis to the Repair Dept. and will leave it to you to give them instructions what you wish them to do with this chassis. It is a modern chassis with vertical radiator shutters but it has a cast dashboard. We will send a list to the R.D. of the other experimental parts fitted to the car.
