Oil Entering Bentley Dynamos from Tachometer Drive.

With reference to RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst.S/JH.4.6.37. we beg to record that oiling troubles on the Bentley Dynamo are definitely less frequent since the fitting of the breather and oil level plug.

Production tests have shown that it was possible to see oil being forced through the commutator end bearing from the Tachometer gear-box, previous to the breather being fitted.

We hold that the present scheme is an improvement and should not be deleted.
