Mr. T. Thornton has been transferred to my staff, and will, from Monday 21st July, 1941, be responsible for liaison work between the Rolls-Royce factories and the S.U. Co. for carburetter supplies, spare parts, progress of parts being made by Rolls-Royce, and sub-contractors on behalf of S.U.

It will be necessary for Sft{Mr Swift}/TT. to make arrangements with the Stores Depts. at Derby, Crewe and Glasgow, in order to get first hand information with regard to supplies, despatches etc.

I shall be glad if all concerned will please give Sft{Mr Swift}/TT. all possible help and assistance in his duties.
