Dear Sir,

For the attention of Mr. Buckland.

We were in conversation with Mr. Thacker of Messrs. Lucas recently and he mentioned your name with regard to a new form of indirect lighting for the instruments, which he had helped to develop.

Would it be possible for you to send us a sample patch or instrument in which this new scheme is incorporated ?.

We would be very grateful if you could do this, as we are not entirely satisfied with our direct lighting and would welcome the opportunity to incorporate a good, cheap, indirect lighting scheme in our own patch.

Yours faithfully,
for ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
