MYTH.

F R A M E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}

On PL.441 - Frame front gusset, we show the frame front gusset spot welded and also tack welded to the frame side channels.

This was done because it was found necessary to weld the gussets to the frame, from the front pan to the dash-board on B.V.

The B.V. frame however, was of riveted construction and the fidgeting took place between these members due to the usual inconsistency for which riveting is noted..

As the Myth frame is of spot welded construction, this trouble should not occur and we feel that the first frame should be ordered spot welded only, as we can easily tack weld the two members together if found necessary.
