X.3445 To BY/HM.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} from EFC. EFC2/T3.6.24. X. 3445 - IGNITION COIL NO.3111 EX CHASSIS 61-HO -OSBORNE- Reference your BY/HM{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}4/K23.5.24, we have carefully examined this coil. It is quite clear from this examination, and in view of the fact that both the primary current and the secondary milliamperes on the A.C. test were abnormally high, that a portion of the primary winding is short circuited. It is therefore another definite instance of the known fault of these coils. We return the coil herewith. EFC. | ||
