We thank you for your letter of the 18th. inst. re the above car. With respect to your request for the finishing instructions we would point out that these were settled during the last visit of Mr. Ward to Derby and are given in the minutes of the meeting then held, see Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}10/JH,14.2.40. of which you should have received a copy. The minutes read as follows:- Silver Ripplet 2-R-2. The finishing instructions for the above car are as follows:- Pale grey body, bonnet and wings like 1-R-1. Dark blue or medium blue leather with cloth and carpet to tone. Samples of paint, leather, cloth and carpet to be submitted to Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} We enclose herewith the Jaguar Pattern Book as requested. Yours faithfully, H,I,F,Evernden.
