Just a few of the COUNTLESS TESTIMONIALS we have received in praise of “Peak” Pinions

Quiet running
No. 1 COLLIERY—We beg to advise you that everywhere that we have installed your “Peak” Pinion, same has given entire satisfaction and shown remarkable silence, long life, and freedom from vibration, and thus saving power and wear and tear of the rest of the plant, and we are very pleased with them.
No. 2 SHIPBUILDING—We are very pleased to say that the Pinion supplied recently is working satisfactorily, and the noise of the gear has been considerably reduced.

Superiority over others
No. 3 ENGINEERING—Regarding the largest “Peak” Pinion, which we fitted to the motor driving the condensing plant in our Power Station, we may say that we have had brass, rawhide, and paper pinions working this drive before we fitted yours, and yours is certainly an improvement on any of these. We are well satisfied with the performance of this pinion and shall be glad to show it to anyone interested.
No. 4 ENGINEERING—We have pleasure in informing you that the “Peak” Pinion supplied to us has given entire satisfaction, running almost without any noise, and is in as good condition as when we put it on. Previous to fitting it we had trouble with teeth of Rawhide, also steel pinions.

Very hard wear
No. 5 PAINT MANUFACTURE—We have pleasure in certifying that the “Peak” Pinion supplied to us in 1923 has given satisfactory service. The pinion has been in use for something like 2½ years and at present is showing very little sign of wear, and we are very pleased with the results. (See illustration in centre of folder).
No. 6 GASWORKS—I am very pleased to say that the two “Peak” Pinions you supplied us with are giving us every possible satisfaction. They were established on our Coke Elevator, principally on account of the noise which the steel pinion made, and since your pinions were fitted this nuisance has been remedied and so far as we are able to judge they are wearing well—in fact, quite equal to steel. In every way, I must say, they are excellent for the work for which they were required.

Withstands severe strain
No. 7 ENGINEERING—We are pleased to say that the “Peak” Pinion you supplied us for our Electric Crane is giving us every satisfaction, and we cannot speak too highly of the service it has given under the severe strain for our Electric Crane.
No. 8 ENGINEERING—The “Peak” Pinion you supplied us with is giving entire satisfaction. This is working in oil on the machine which works more silently and just as efficiently as the wheel made of metal.
