GOSHAWK 11. CONTROL GEAR. X4239

We send you herewith drawing No. LeC 1574.
This drawing shows 2 modifications to the control gear:-

(1) Length of the toggling lever for the hand control decreased from .9 to .6.

(11) The angular position of this lever altered until it is now absolutely toggled.

The net effect of these 2 modifications is to open the throttle only 25% (angularly) with the full range of the hand control, and to provide a still more gradual opening effect at the beginning of the movement.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
