(2) DASHBOARD. Cast aluminium with the same shape of pot and depth of pot as J.3. Universal type. STEERING. COLUMN. Same as J.3. Two angle are provided with the same column length. PEDALS Use J.3. pedals but spaced as in N.Sch.3344. INSTRUMENT BOARD. Switch and controls to be the same as J.3. All the other instruments to come from one source and to be in a patch in the centre of the board. CENT. CHASSIS. LUB. Using J.3 pump. WIRING. All junction boxes and adaptors to be the same as J.3. FOOTBOARDS. Unframed by the use of Plymax. or framed with a metal angle. __________________________________ COACHWORK. Due to the special treatment of the frame springs and exhaust pipe the rear cushion is entirely between the frame side members. On max. two wheel bump the axle casing compresses the cushion from below anything up to 2.000ins. The axle diameter is therefore of great importance. It should be as small as possible. SUGGESTED STOCK BODIES. (1) Four door six light saloon on "D" steering.( see N.Sch.3346) One spare wheel at the side. (2) Four door, four light saloon on either "D" or "E" steering at customers request. One spare wheel at the side. (3) Four door four light sports saloon on "E" steering. the design being for one spare wheel at the rear or on the side as preferred by the customer. (4) The same as (2) but with a folding rear quarter. OTHER SPECIAL BODIES. (5) Four door open car. ( This may have a sale on the smaller chassis) All makers list one. Not likely to be needed.
