- 2 - Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}9/ML.29.3.40. this had been rectified by the Makers. Recently the question of accuracy again arose and the matter was discussed with the Makers. As a result the following procedure was arranged :- (1) The Makers stated that they could adjust the clocks to work within closer limits of accuracy than plus or minus 5 minutes per week, and agreed to so do. (2) All available clocks on Experimental cars to be kept under close observation, and unsatisfactory ones to be returned to the Makers. (3) No attempt should be made by us to regulate instruments; they should be returned in the condition complained of. For several weeks now, the clocks on the eight cars available, have been periodically checked. The results of these observations are summarised on the next page.
