[Typed] As agreed with you yesterday, we are instructing the following new features for production 'E' series chassis:-

(1). [Typed] Connecting rods with lead bronze lined large ends to suit present standard crankshafts. [Handwritten Annotation] ✓
(2). [Typed] Increased capacity oil pumps - LeC.4288. [Handwritten Annotation] ✓
(3). [Typed] Flywheel and Clutch as per N.Sch.3948 and N.Sch.4181 as fitted on 21-G-1V. [Handwritten Annotation] N.Sch.4181 is circled, with a '?' next to it.
(4). [Typed] Geared Starter Motor as per RR.Sch.767. [Handwritten Annotation] ✓
(5). [Typed] Strengthened rear spring plate as per N.Sch.4147. [Handwritten Annotation] Not introduced
(6). [Typed] Rear axle pinion with increased diameter shank and ball bearings with steel cages. [Handwritten Annotation] Inner race integral with pinion GB 1385—
