10 13 SECRET. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/R.18.6.37. SPARE WHEEL MOUNTING ON THE WRAITH. The spare wheels on the Wraith move about far too much. Quite apart from the appearance, which is unpleasant, their movement tends to cause vibration in the front seats of the car, and to give the impression that the frame is weak. We are carrying out some tests to see where the deflection occurs, superficially, this appears to be due to the side wheel being attached to the outer plate of the frame only. Some modification is required without further delay. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
