SUSPENSION. X8410

Further tests we have carried out here have shewn that 10-EX is definitely more comfortable at the rear than any of our other cars.

The fore and aft pitching of which you speak is almost entirely absent. We attribute this to the fact that the rear springs have only from 5" to 6" initial deflection. With our present front springs this appears to reduce the pitching to a minimum. We suggest that if you could get the initial camber of a set of springs altered in Australia it would be worth your while to make a test.

Herewith a specification of the springs which we are recommending to high speed merchants, of which R.{Sir Henry Royce} has approved.
