BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c. to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} x235 DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}3/M1.5.29. 'SS{S. Smith}' REAR AXLE. X. 7350 X. 7520 X. 235 With reference to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn{Mr Robinson}5/LG25.4.29. We understand that the rear shock damper bracket is not actually broken, and we presume that the report of weakness has arisen because it has been seen to bend. In order to be on the safe side however, on N.sch.2885 herewith, we have suggested that it might be thickened, the result being to double the strength, which appears to us to be adequate.
