10,000 MILES TEST ON 'V' SERIES CAR IN FRANCE.

This car has completed the 10,000 miles in France and we are expecting it to arrive in Derby tomorrow.

Briefly, the chief troubles with the car have been :-

1. Broken piston.
2. Broken front springs.
On the N/S the top leaf.
On the O/S several lower leaves have broken.
3. Exhaust down pipes scaled very badly and burnt through.
4. Two broken springs in side steering tube.
5. Three broken step irons.
6. Engine mounting failed.

There are also reports of several parts wearing.
These will be examined when the car returnes, and reported upon.
