GRY{Shadwell Grylls} see me x1086 S/W To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re American Cars. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}16/E13.1.36 We seem to have made a very heavy loss over the sale of the Graham Paige as we were only able to get £75 for it whereas it cost us approximately £450. It seems to have done extensive mileage, i.e. 34,000 miles. I am wondering whether we really want to keep that Packard we recently bought as I am not quite clear in my mind as to why we bought it. It is regarded as their cheap car and the agents from whom we bought it were surprised that we should want it. Now that we seem to have given up the idea of making a straight eight, I am wondering whether we do really want it. Please let me know. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
