We have been asked by Mr. [redacted] to provide an estimate for a proposed canteen at Clan Foundry and below give our figures for the additional expenditure involved. The canteen will be capable of seating 100 people and will be constructed on the same lines as the one recently put in hand for Slack Lane, that is it will be a timber frame structure lined, with adequate heating and lighting facilities and the usual services.
