The de Havilland Aircraft Co.Ltd. 29.7.36. -2- certainly saved us an awful lot of grief on the sleeve valve Daimlers and kept oil consumption and smoking down on the first ten or fifteen thousand miles, which is not, of course, very much, but did at least get the car out of the guarantee period so that from then on the customer paid.
